Lynn Zechiedrich, PhDFounder & Chief Scientific Officer

C.E.O. and President of Twister Biotech, Dr. Zechiedrich holds the Kyle and Josephine Morrow Chair in Molecular Virology and Microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine. She is Professor in the departments of Molecular Virology and Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Pharmacology. Known internationally for her work on DNA structure/function, Dr. Zechiedrich has won numerous research and mentoring awards. She was the recipient of a New Investigator Award in the Toxicological Sciences from The Burroughs Wellcome Fund, a Curtis Hankamer Research Award, an Applied Biosystems SOLiD™ 3 System $10K Genome Grant, a Human Frontier Science Program Research Grant, a John S. Dunn Foundation Collaborative Research Award and was the Baylor College of Medicine Research Advocates for Student Scientists mentor of the year award in 2013. She is delighted to see her patented discoveries translating into medicine.
